Cancer was my trigger. I never expected to deal with something so jolting in my thirties and it forced me to look at every aspect of my life. Was I happy at work? Was I happy with the way I was living my life? What did I want my life to be about?
Having a clear life purpose leads to greater health, happiness and sense of wellbeing.
I began to practice mind/body techniques, trust my inner core, my “true north” and by working with a career coach, figure out what I really wanted to do.
I was able to help those in need, travel, connect with many different cultures and people and it all led me to this current moment and to coaching.
I have a strong desire to help others tap into the power of mindfulness and journey with them as they find out what they want in life and how to get it.
Have you been triggered? Has something inside of you screamed that you need more? That voice is important, and you should listen to it.
There are small steps you can work on right now.
Take time out of your week for reflection. Even just a few minutes will make a big difference.
Find and develop your energy sources (physical activity, healthy eating, social connections, sleep, mindfulness practices) so you have the wind in your sails to power your sense of purpose in your daily life.
Work with a coach to help craft your life purpose statement.
You don’t have to do anything alone.
